CAM software for saw/waterjet.

Lastra easily cuts the slabs assigned to a job. It is specific for bathroom vanities and kitchen tops but it can be used to cut a plenty of different objects. Lastra is not only a CAD program. It’s a CAM software designed for numerically controlled bridge saws & saw jets. 

2D Design

It is possible to use a set of 2D CAD tools (Logotag) or the DXF/DWG import functions to create a project layout; alternatively, it is possible to define the project by acquiring the shapes using the photo-digitizer application (Telecamera). A 3D rendering window is available in order to get a preview of the finished work.

Nesting

This system provides a perfect combination of automatic, semi-automatic, and manual nesting strategies of slabs. There are up to twelve different nesting solutions that can be obtained per slab. Users can choose to maximize the ease of cutting or to minimize the material waste.

The combination of automatic nesting, along with manual nesting functions like copy, moving, align, and rotating, proves to be a very powerful tool for your daily usage.

Machinings

Lastra is designed to handle multiple cutting technologies like blade cutting, water jet cutting, drill, and milling cutting. Single cuts, multiple cuts, miter cuts, round cuts, and automatic cutting strategies are available and can be mixed together to optimize your production.

Optional Packages

  • Vacuum Lifter software module: pick-and-place optimize the slab cutting and moves. It is suitable to split slabs, move cut parts, and remove scraps.
  • Drill & Milling Cutter software module: drill and milling cutters when available can be used to complete cuts started with blade.
  • Water jet software module: waterjet cutting helps to cut rounded shapes and similarly to drill or milling cutter can be used to complete partial cuts started with blade.
  • Slab Inventory: easily locate and view the slabs in your inventory based on any of the properties of the slab. You can even search for remnants of a particular size. Inserire link a Slab Inventory.
